More like emotions. Thoughts are rarer but sometimes.

I actually hear their thoughts in my head, and sometimes the thoughts are downright brutal. I recently went into a store and was standing beside someone who was impatient. He used racial slurs, but did not speak them, if that makes sense. I was so uncomfortable in there with him, as he was calling me a honkey. He is black and I am white, and he is the racist. I finished my transaction and left quickly.

This is one of the reasons I shut myself off as much as possible.
