Wow. I'm impressed by the interesting books. I'm reading for enjoyment rather than enlightenment, although I can sometimes receive enlightenment from the books I read.
I just finished Written In Red by Anne Bishop. GREAT BOOK!! I enjoyed it immensely. It's the first of a trilogy at least and I can't wait for the next book. I'm re-reading the Tanya Huff trilogy which started with Smoke and Shadows. I'm on the second book Smoke and Mirrors. THe last book is Smoke and Ashes. I always have a book in my hand.

For school: A smattering of essays on writing, mainly poetry, by Mary Reufle, Whitman, Pope, and many others. Also in a nature writing course. The most recent were Cokinos and Ann Pancake, though am excited about what I've started reading in Mary Oliver's Twelve Moons.
Want to read The Awakened Gods, by one of our alums (just released) but who k.ows when that will get to happen. Also want to read Gaiman's new one.
