If one has a strong enough bond with a spirit (bound or unbound; referring to one called through a conjuration, or one who was never conjured and simply chose to stay with you) then it is possible to have some form of connection still, once you are deceased...

Point being.. it is not necessary to even bind a spirit in order to be this close to them after death, let alone have a soul binding.

If connections are meant to be, they will be.

I should also point out..

Your own beliefs would definitely factor in here..

If you are one who believes when you die, that is the end and you simply cease to exist, then obviously whether or not you will encounter your spirits in the afterlife will be completely irrelevant to you.

Also.. what do you define, as the 'soul' ? What does that mean to you?

If you believe it is the most divine and pure part of yourself (closer to the beliefs of Christianity) then a soul binding is in essence, disrupting, or possibly tainting, that 'purity' and is thus, considered a sin.

The only way to let your spirits/entities follow you to the next lives is through soul binding.. I am happy that most of my spirits/entities are willing to soul bound to me.. :D I need them more than they need me..

Even though I can't remember them next life, but I am happy that they will still be with the next life watching over me, the next next life and the next next next life...ect :meme:

This is not quite so.

I have a couple spirits, who I have past life connections with.. and they found me again in this life without the need for a soul binding.
