I saw that headline on my phone earlier. That's a shame.

Way too young.

If I'm doing my math correctly, she wasn't born yet when her father was a factor in the big Live Aid concert for famine relief. I believe that was 1985, with a long list of stars performing in London and Philadelphia.

The first I ever heard that there was such a person as Peaches Geldof was the news story about her being dead. There should have been an article about that, back when there was still time to care. Now it's too late.

I didn't know she existed, until today. But I did know of her father, whose work to alleviate famine I respect. So it saddens me that he has lost a daughter. Plus, there's the whole "25 is way too young to die" aspect of the story. In that case, I'm going to feel sorry for them and their loved ones, just because.
