Posting pictues?

I have an interesting picture I want everyone to see. I took it while burning incense and a red candle lit, doing some quiet time! I can't figure out for the life of me how to post it here. Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance!

Put it on an image hoster and use the html img tags when editing a post.
There's a button when you edit a post that says Img, use that.
You can't post pictures directly until you're tenured.

Firstly, there is the simplest option of just uploading the picture to a site such as www.imgur.com and providing the link here.

If you want to post in the thread however, I believe there is a 500x500 pixel limit to what you can use "" with.
1. Go to http://picresize.com/
2. Upload your picture
3. In the drop down menu under 'Resize Your Picture' go to Custom Size...
4. Place 500 in either width or height [the other will automatically choose the proper size].
5. Scroll down and under 'Save As' change the quality to best.
6. Then finish, download, upload to www.imgur.com and place the link in between this '[img]'%20and%20this%20'[/img]' in this thread.

DO YOU GET THE UPLOAD ATTACHMENT SECTION UNDER THE SUBMIT BUTTON? A PLACE UNDER THE THREAD WITH A BROWSE BUTTON?

IF YOU DO, YOU CAN UPLOAD YOUR PIC AND THEN POST IT TO THE FORUM. IT HAS TO BE SIZE 500X500 MAXIMUM.

The only thing under the Submit button I see are Options, Disable BB Code, Disable smiles, Do not automatically parse URL's..etc

Is this different for you or others on the forum?

I think what you see depends on what board preference of the forum you're using. I use Epoch and under the field where I'm typing this & below the preview, submit, save & cancel buttons, there is another field which is where you can upload files from your pc. It asks for the filename and file comment and there is a button to add the file, and under that section are preview, submit and cancel buttons.

Different board preferences likely have different versions for adding comments & pictures, so what you see might be different from what I've described if you have a different board preference in use.

Woah, I didn't know such a face lift would occur upon changing board preferences. I was under the impression it was just a simple color palette change. Epoch is definitely my favorite. I still don't see what was described however. The only change in format when replying is "Options:" is off to the left. I think it may have to do with the fact that I don't have full access to the site.
