I'm doing this on the Navajo Reservation >.<

I have to have it running in the newspaper for a week... A WEEK! To notify the public! Even in the State of NM is like that too, I'm doing here because it will onlu be $35.

It just upsets me, but it's what I HAVE to do >.<

Is there spells are wishes I can make to keep the public from seeing this??? Or somehow make it disappear???

Since you are doing this on reservation, I would go to your local Chapter House, or ask a member of the local Chapter, or any other local official, for advice. Don't forget, you have elders at your disposal for advice as well, it's a bit harder for the rest of us First Nations people who live outside the tribal systems.

What a bizarre law, but an existing one nevertheless. It's true with businesses and individuals alike. Even at major corporations, when they form a spinoff or incorporate a divestiture, they have to publish information regarding the legal identities of ALL officers...some may not even reside in the U.S. From a public perspective, I believe that it's still an enforceable law due in large to creditors...that way you can't rack up bills and then disappear!...Um...err...bankruptcy notwithstanding.

Equally absurd to me is that real estate transactions are public knowledge and posted in the paper(s) as well. Anyone can find out what you paid for your house, what properties you own and their market values as well as the tax values on your properties. No one thinks about it much, but to me, that's amazing.
