It seems common for many running a paranormal shop to lack professionality in this matter.
I believe, that after giving someone many chances, it's ok to publish their name along with your experience. Not just ok, but it should be done, as to warn others and to make the sellers aware, that this is not acceptable. After all, the seller still has the chance after a bad review to turn things in their favour, if they really care and treat a bad review accordingly. If they however don't care, then why should the customer care for their reputation and avoid naming them?

Because it's not unheard of for a petty practictioner to launch an attack. And I do not feel safe allowing another members to engage publicly about these people.

CH has been the target of many who get upset about honest feedback their members write. I'm not about to repeat history.

My problem isn't with the spirit but those who do not know the difference between right and wrong.

If someone did that for publishing a honest review, I would make this thing also public.

I could, but I'd give them a fair chance to fix this and get off their high horse. These issues are expressed in the sellers review thread. Just see who ever has been taking too long and avoid them. They are just too busy for you. It's the safest path to sanity.

It's frustrating that I've been hearing more and more about these sort of issues. It definitely makes me cautious to place orders. CH already pushes it with 40+ days without shipment, but I can't imagine waiting any longer...

For those interested, Paypal has changed their policies. You now have 180 days from purchase to open a case. If it's past that date, you can contact Paypal and they may open the case if there is substantial evidence that you have not received your product or a refund.

When you set up your PayPal account, you "choose how you prefer to pay in stores". I have my credit card chosen. However, I did not even give PayPal my bank information, because I found that they were trying to use it as my preferred method thereby forcing me to abide by their rules for dispute that protect sellers more than buyers. I hope this helps. After having a very bad experience with an Etsy seller during which both Etsy and PayPal told me they couldn't help because too much time had lapsed, this is the ONLY way I will use PayPal. Etsy did close the seller's shop permanently, because she was clearly attempting fraud and stalling so that she could get away with it. My credit card company stepped in and got the money back from PayPal.

If this is true, that's a much needed change. Most sellers are ethical, but, unfortunately, there are some that we need protection from.
