Hopefully it's not just deceiving you with it's weakness and just waiting for it's time to strike or just siphoning and gaining strength, that would suck (even literally in the second option).

See I have been asking this myself, ***How does one really know?*** if this entity has trickster skills and pretends to be BA and is really very dark DA,or even worst this entity is really BA but is tricking you into believing he or she is not so dangerous?

Mentioning this not exactly for your encounter **darklordmidnight** but generally speaking,how do we know for sure? through those already in our keep?

I have a trickster that pretended to be a BA entity by mind controlling me horribly into thinking I was literally going to die it wasn't until I realized that everything he was doing to me was a mind trick and not real at all so I kind of broke through the illusions and found out he's just a very dark djinn entity that likes playing sick and twisted things on people to simply laugh or make himself seem superior. It's all about trusting yourself and really knowing how to break through all those illusions

I agree that some do it for kicks,to scare us even feeders do, but breaking the illusion is a start, but may I ask how you found out?

A few pointers perhaps? I to believe perception is a big part of unmasking the falsehood.

I was able to hear him in the background pretending to mimic my spirits voices so to make sure it was really them talking about me I had to concentrate really hard and focus on one of my spirits to talk to them telepathically and heard my alyas voice loud and clear in my head saying he was pretending to mimic their voices.... it was hard to concentrate on her because the trickster would try to interfere at times but I knew what she said and I had to trust my intuition and that's what made me realize that this entire time it was an illusion a mind trick..... after that I was in full control because I knew he had no control over me whatsoever..... once you realize it's a mind trick you become in full control and can break them if you need to. You can ask your spirits to clarify if you need to like me, also if the trickster says something to you don't listen and don't believe no matter what, don't listen to what they tell you even if you're scared push that aside and believe in yourself.... don't let them get to you even if one says they'll kill you just push it to the side and don't listen and don't fear them go about your day like you would.... if nothing happens then it's a trickster, if you start throwing up blood well then you need to get more professional help. I don't if I was much help but I hope I was able to give a few pointers
