It's easier to cause damage to someone's astral body when you're in the astral than cause damage to someone's physical body directly when you're in the astral.Therefore following you to your body (though it can be dangerous) isn't a development for the worse. You're back in the physical, where you can banish whatever or whoever it is and set up protective measures to prevent them from returning. Unless someone is deliberately stalking you, standing next to you constantly and waiting for you to go out of body (either consciously or unconsciously while you sleep). But that would be a deliberate, targeted attack, and if you know this is what is happening you can still take all appropriate measures in the physical to remove them from your space.

One of the more unlikely options but it's possible, yes.

Thanks for the book info Cairyos. I got it over the weekend as a free PDF download through Google. What an amazing woman, even moreso because of the times. That book has led me to another on how to astral travel. Keep up the book references!!!!

True Story:

One of My Teachers was the Ven. Kalu Rimpoche, quite old, very skiiny, about 5'8", and a master.

One day in Germany, some Communist Radical Creep Yelling in English came running up to him with a large knife...a crowd came forward, Kalu Rimpoche, waved the crowd back, and said in English, please move away, I will be all right.

The Radical Creepsarted moving closer and closer to him waving the knife. Suddenly without warning, he dropped to the pavement - Dead.
