Is There Any Advantage to BETAS?

Belief is powerful and important; it's like that one quote says...if I am remembering it rightly "those who don't believe in magic will never find it". Belief itself actually does have reality warping powers and if you believe in something strongly you're a million times more likely to experience it than if you strongly disbelieve.

It isn't that I actively disbelieve. I really expected those servitors to work, and the full psychic upgrade, too. Otherwise, there would have been no point in buying.

I really doubt that. I think it's either hope or expectations, not belief.

As far as I remember, I've read one, maybe two posts of you where you actually mentioned experiences that might have been communication attempts but you dismissed them totally. Like you were expecting far more than this and it's not worthy of noticing or anything.

You're blocking them off, since they're easily explained away. But then everything is can be explained away. I mean moving furniture? Earthquake, Hallucinations, etc.
And there are not many beings that can easily move furniture. Someone once said that the veil is mostly doubt, doubt from others but more heavy weighting in it is your own doubt. The veil is what makes it hard for beings to manifest in any way. It's possible that the veil where you live is so strong, but I think that it's rather you yourself who's making that veil so strong.

Or you're an anti-mage or a veil leyline or something, it would make you very special but also totally unfit for anything to do with meta.

I was brainstorming with my Beta Creation Unit another day. We come up a few idea to enhance my senses.

We call these beta implants, which act like inserting your body with extra organs that help to enhance the senses in terms of interaction with companions.

So far, still on the draft stage, and Boris (My BCU) suggests those to be bound directly to user's own spirit or body bound.

Yup, so far we have think of eyes enhancer, ear enhancement, as well as speach and touches. My BCU is a genius.
