Greetings -
I've been purusing the catalog of spirits and cannot seem to locate these lovely ladies who will carry me to my grave. The Valkyrie are riding beside us at each moment, but if they have made an appearance at Creepy Hollows, I can't seem to find them. Anyone else know of them?

DeeDee had some-they were amber stones. She called them wish maidens.The valkyries bring their chosen who have died bravely in battle to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin, where the deceased warriors become einherjar. There, when the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead.

I haven't seen Odin offered either, and he's one of the major gods in Norse mythology if I'm not mistaken.

Gosh, I'm shocked that certain folk have never heard of the Valkyries! Big blonde ladies with horned helmets cluttering up Wagner operas... :lol: Seriously, I am not sure where they fall in the classification of spirits. As Odin's Shield-Maidens, they select only those warrior-souls who are worthy of Valhalla so whilst they are harvesters of souls, they are also judges to some extent. (Dying in battle is not enough, you have to die heroically to be chosen, as I understand it.) So do they qualify as Immortals or what? I think the Valkyrie that Lisa had back along was more in the nature of a woman-empowers-woman type spirit so probably no use to friend Thunnar!

I got Odin from CH a couple months back, but I think it was a custom.
I don't know if you would really want to have a lot of my experiences. I don't really want to have a lot of my experiences.
