Offerings for spirits which do not require money to be spent

1 ) offer a small portion of your own meal to your spirits (go easy on the salt products)
2 ) give dragons small pennies and shiny things you have found
3 ) collect a small amount of sand for a mermaid / merman and shower with them as long as the vessel is water safe. This goes for other water type beings (glass, gemstones that will not dissolve in water) bowls of water.
4 ) offer your incubus / succubus menstrual blood among other things
5 ) milk and honey for faeries and other fairy type spirits
6 ) flowers can be universal.
7 ) a drop of blood for your vampires or psychic energy
8 ) ribbons and kids jewellery for young female human spirits
9 ) toy cars and trains for young male human spirits
10 ) hand written letters are universal
11 ) a walk to the cemetery for spirits accustomed to death and the afterlife (banshee etc) rotting things can also do well if left tightly sealed in a jar, grave dirt.
12 ) feathers for angels and white wines
13 ) nature walks for spirits who are more on the earth side
14 ) drawings and other creative things

hi, I did a little research and found a few things... in china.. the offerings for fox spirits are usually bowls of rice, meat and also milk. you can offer Chinese tokens that are red and gold which line fox temples as well. Even little spirit images of foxes and ornaments which can be Chinese in origin (you dont have to buy them but you can make them as well. I have also found a particular spirit who is is given offerings in the bedroom (a 9 tailed fox spirit of sorts) and in return they give wealth and protection to the family. its up to you, but you could have your foxes area in your room where you give them the red items and figurines.

Might I add I also find my Vampires and Djinn like some spirits!
And by spirits, I mean alcohol. :lol:
The vamps espically enjoy wine and craft beer, I find. They also lovvveeee aloe, espically the aloe drinks and chai tea oddly. (It's their thing for cinnamon, lol.)

My djinns don't seem picky on the type of alcohol, but it is interesting to note that they like when I smoke mugwort with them and chat. (I am not a smoker, but they sure like the rare occaasions I am at a hooka longue or break out the mugwort! Lol.)

And fae are indeed suckers for any type of sugary or shiney offering. Sometimes I even put fresh berries or, as mentioned, flowers and notes. Sometimes I even offer a drawing as an offering.

Yes! i forgot to add whisky etc... but alcohol can be a bit expensive unless you already have it on hand.

I wouldn't do the drop of blood thing. You can get the same effect by eating a nice steak. Blood offerings opens the door to a whole lot of things you might not want to deal with. Fine with the other stuff.

well, i do traditional witchcraft.. its one of the things which is often given to familiar spirits... but... everyones preference i guess.
