personally i loved all three especially the tremendous cinematography through the "adventure". examples were like the mountain shots showing aragorn, legolas and gimli running across the peaks after the orcs - really great cinematography in all three! although i did prefer the novels as mongrella - more story in the books that never made the big screen due to time constraints i guess. take care!

I have the books on CD. I should listen to them. Never have got around to it. Easy enough to listen to them while on my laptop.
