Just be friendly to the unwanted and ask them to leave. If they don't leave, add into your sentence that you ask for angels to protect you and if they may help you to banish it.

Usually, I have been always warning those who wanted to do the letter ritual. It can be a quite dangerous one for those unaware of many things and an easy one to make mistakes, also in the things written down, for people who are unfamiliar with rituals.

I believe your case is one of those, where the entity had already choicen you long before you even thought of doing this ritual and has actually pushed you and encouraged you to search that ritual and do it. So, that through your intentions and your permissions, it can enhance the connection and the bond with you.

Should you however, at any time, have the feeling that something goes wrong or is not right, come straight back here for help. There are plenty things I've learned through you all posts. Especially the believing part. It'll play a big part in my bonding.

i recommend you do introspective work on your spiritual self, try some shadow work and/or akashic records/library meditation. you seem to be proficient with magick, learning more about your self via shadow work and harnessing your true potential will help you on the path. Especially shadow work, since it boosts your magickal ability, especially when working with your shadow. It also helps you to come to terms with who you really are.

But it can be pretty challenging, and seriously mess with you. Some people can do it all the way, i only made it halfway and had to back out, its scarier than a letter method any day, but if you do it and come out, you'll have mastery over your own shadow.
