In the encyclopedia article linked above it states that a boggart will look after/protect the family it is with “when properly cared for” this leads me to a very logical question; what exactly IS the proper care for/of a boggart? Anyone have one or have any input on this?

To be 100% certain, contact CH Support. I would let the conjurers provide you any clarification since they are familiar with the spirits that they conjure, especially if you have questions or concerns. To be frank, the Encyclopedia entries are a bit outdated from what I understand so I would just contact CH Support for clear and current advice concerning Boggarts.
