Never seen spirit keeping as "evil", so long as it is a voluntary process on both ends. Morality aside, there are consequences for every action.
There seems to be a ton of different types of spirits out there, some human, some would be human and some never human. The only time I've encountered someone getting messed up by spirits is when they've tried to direct them to do too many materialistic tasks -- human spirits are often best and easiest to work with for this type of task since they resonate with the material world the most. Binding human spirits against their will for materialistic pursuits is often tempting to many amateur occultists, who then get into all sorts of trouble.
Is Spirit Keeping evil?

Yeah, then he tried to get one over on god, trying to learn his knowledge, abandoning gods teachings, and i guess god snapped his sanity and took his kingdom (i think the sanity parts crap though). or so they say anyway, course who knows immortals can be scary.

That's the first I hear about it. I thought King Solomons kingdom went away thanks to Man? Some wars fought or something.Unclesid wrote:Yeah, then he tried to get one over on god, trying to learn his knowledge, abandoning gods teachings, and i guess god snapped his sanity and took his kingdom (i think the sanity parts crap though). or so they say anyway, course who knows immortals can be scary.

his son took his kingdom from him, and his kingdom failed while under the rule of his successor, while he was alive and still in power his kingdom would be fine, but as soon as his descendants took over, they would all fail. or so says some verses in the bible anyway.Fireshadow wrote:That's the first I hear about it. Oh, kinda alike Alexander the Great his kingdom then? But with Alexander the Greats kingdom, it was way to big to be handled by just a single man! And King Solomons kingdom was also pretty big no? Maybe it was as big as the USA... and that country is ruled by a president for only four, max eight years, and then someone else comes up to take over. Maybe if King Solomons kingdom, and that of Alexander the Great would have been ruled by the same manner that the USA is ruled, it would still be there today...Unclesid wrote:his son took his kingdom from him, and his kingdom failed while under the rule of his successor, while he was alive and still in power his kingdom would be fine, but as soon as his descendants took over, they would all fail. or so says some verses in the bible anyway.Fireshadow wrote:That's the first I hear about it. So in the end, I'm not sure if God had anything to do with it. Maybe it were its people that were divided. Or is the French King also cursed by the God, and so the Tsar?
And the other way around, why is England/Uk still ruled by its Queen? King Henry Tudor appointed himself as Gods chosen king, and walked away from Church and Pope. I know the current Queen is of a different bloodline then the Tudors. But about the Tudors, Queen Elizabeth Tudor brought the Golden Age towards England, and she wasn't as Catholic as her dear sister who is not remembered that fondly.
The bible is chosen by the Church, so how many truths does it hold?
