Something tells me this question will end up looking insulting but uh, you can leave offerings of food and such on the table even if it's for say, a cat or dog spirit right? They'd be able to enjoy it just as well yes? I wanna make sure in advance because I got some steak for the two wolves I have, and wanted to present it to them in a way they'd be able to enjoy.

I know it's a silly question and all, but I have trouble associating much of this world's logic to Spirits, mostly out of curiosity or compassion - - - so I apologize in advance if I sound disrespectful or unintelligent.

I leave my wolves' offerings on the counter...I have a dog who would eat it otherwise... They are very thankful and fine with it.
