The idea was or is this: So imagine if a rock is tying down a balloon. This ‘rock’ or object happens to be your said ‘dark’ aspect. Once it’s removed you (The balloon) will float to the heavens and no longer be attached to it?

How true is this and why did somebody imply instead it strands you?

I might have had it happen as a result of some emotional experiences, although idk to what degree and what ‘weakened’. Dealt with it by grounding myself to have a strong enough ‘willpower to live’ again by creating a list of purposes/business I want done first.

Idk if this might belong in philosophy but I’m talking in what people call ‘frequency’?

This was the nature of the idea I had before in some way the wish was granted previously last year - early this year?

“It” went but along with it also something related to ‘will to survive’ heavily and I needed to rest, find a way to compensate for that or a replacement.

Shadow work.

You need to do shadow work and integrate ALL aspects of yourself together.

The lack of that integration is the rock that is preventing your balloon from flying.

Should this thread just get merged into one of those others? Since duplicate threads are a no-go?

Yes. This is close to the best answer (imho) in Wizard's previous thread on this, which was along these lines:

I think Shadow work is partly about being grounded in the totality of one's Self. We don't have to be at the mercy of our repressed Shadow. It is healthy and useful for us to be aware of it. (There must be a lot more to Shadow work. And I think I've drifted in and out of being an integrated person. I freely admit I have often been running round in circles chasing my projections on the world and repressing my ability to be whole and at peace with myself.)

This has been discussed before in previous threads, despite the originating question not being exemplified in the same manner.
