One of the more interesting things for a paranormal experience for myself in the past was a fairly random effect of seeing time speed up or slow down be in real life, movies, video games etc.

It wasn't any case of an adrenaline rush either.

I could be perfectly calm and centered yet still encounter this effect.

Hour going by like seconds or seconds going by like hours it's both intereting , in some cases funny, but ultimatly a very strange paranormal effect.

This is very interesting. I wonder what is the cause of such a thing happening? How you could induce this effect onto yourself? Sometimes I wish time would speed up, and other times I wish it would just slow down LOL. Which makes me wonder if there is a way to control this effect? Or if it simply cannot be controlled but is a result of something you've been doing?

Thank you for sharing. This gives me food for thought. Maybe others have some more ideas on it too.

I couldn't tell you the cause of it if my life depended on it to be honest. All I know is that it was a crazy effect lol.

Do you have any specific experiences of time distortion that you wanted to share? I'd be interested to read about what has happened around you in this regard.

The best example
I can give you is the effect seen when watching movies or tv shows. The speech would become distorted and in some cases unintelligible.

Take this short sentence as a quick example.

(normal): My name is Jesse and I am writing this example sentence.

(time sped up) mynamisyese andi'm whitingthisexamplesentence.

(time slowed down) "H..i mah nayyyme I...s Jeseeee ann...duh I am wrttin this egg ample se..ntence."

And yeah all I can say is thank god for CC lol

Interesting. And these distortions are not external, like from digital streaming bugs, transmission defects, other interference?

No, not at all. DVD, vhs, TV, Roku, etc are all working fine.

This is interesting to read are you sure it's not something that you are doing? also do you ever focus and see a clear like portal/vortex around the thing you are viewing?

not consciously doing no and as far as focusing on the device that just causes the system to begin malfunctioning such as lagging or even a complete shut down of functionality . Nothing permanent but a quick freeze or some other mild issue along those lines.

Oh, and I have not seen any vortex or portal around anything when the time distortion happens. I would say it feels more like a pulse or like for a split second the entire world around me just ceases to be as I feel the tv, dvd player etc for half a second or so.

It's right after that pulse like feeling happens that the time distortion happens.

Oh, and it has not happened at all recently either last one was 2 years ago I want to say.
