I get intrusive thoughts from time to time. My doctor said it was linked to my anti-anxiety meds. Its not frequent enough to be bothersome. But I couldn't imagine having that going on all the time.. it would be maddening.

I also thought I was having intrusive thoughts while trying to sleep at night. I'd hear somebody call my name like they were calling me to dinner or something. But I live alone. A few months later, I found out it was an unbound in the home. Asked a couple of companions to escort it out and the voices at night immediately stopped.
