Witcher coming to Netflix very soon

Postby Wizard » Tue Jul 23, 2019 5:26 am

Just a notice, the trailer is already out too.

Besides the way they depict the main characters and their fighting moves overall the series is based on a book that was inspired by real life paranormal folklore.

Although it takes place in an alternate universe. And as mentioned in the other thread tries to more accurately depict humans’ both positives and negatives in response to the mundane + paranormal elements in their life alike.

I've been looking forward to this Netflix original for quite some time. I've read the books, but didn't really get in to the video games based on the books. But, this looks like a promising adaptation of the original books.

Never read the books or played the games, sadly...

But I thoroughly enjoyed the first season. I don't understand why it got crappy reviews...

I read all the books but didn't care for them. Husband plays the last game: Wild Hunt and I love to watch and listen to it. I wasn't sure if I would like the TV show or not but, it was terrific!
