That is interesting. How do we know if they are darker than us or not? Just going with what resonates is a broad term for me.

Not too sure about all that tbh. This was a line in the CH DA book. It may be a general guiding principle: I think it may be similar to what's said about why we can get DA adjustment symptoms (ie when a spirit is darker than us).

Hopefully if we go by what feels right, we're more likely to find ourselves with spirits that are on the right energy wavelength for us. For me, I'm sometimes *interested* in a darker spirit but I don't feel it resonates or is right for me and don't feel a genuine call.

As I said above, I'm mainly into WA/light nature or grey/neutral.

Don’t be scared. This island is full of noises, strange sounds and sweet melodies that make you feel good and don’t hurt anyone. Sometimes I hear a thousand twanging instruments hum at my ears, and sometimes voices that send me back to sleep even if I had just woken up—and then I dreamed of clouds opening up and dropping such riches on me that when I woke up, I cried because I wanted to dream again. +1 to going with the spirit that resonates with you. That's always your best option.

I personally recommend Hellhounds. I have two from two different conjurers and they're both wonderful. I would stress that house rules are quite important, as they are quite energetic, but they're easy to handle otherwise.

Jump through the mirror, leave fear behind.
