Are DA Only Active At Night & WA Morning?

Ok so I have a question does DA activation only work at night and does WA only work in day? I'm new to spirit/ living entity keeping so I'm just wondering.

Nope. They’re active when they’re active any time of day or night. Dark arts or white arts just refers to their morals and types of magic that they will perform as well as their energy.

DA and WA can be active at any time of the day. It doesn't have to be at night for DA or the morning for WA. It depends on the individual, really.

According to the Creepy Hollows classification (and I think some others'), human beings are classed as dark arts. The phrase 'duplicitous' being is used, as we humans have the choice of doing right or wrong. Some of us lean more one way or the other but we as a species are not classified as white arts. Also Immortals are classified as DA for a similar reason.

Whether night or morning, they can be active. Although if they align more with specific energy of day/night they would contribute more energy in their tasks. When planning bonding schedule, a companion of mine did advise me to put the elements the spirits associate with in consideration. Elements being the time of day that they enjoy being in, around a specific atmosphere or mood, etc. My alicanto can be active any time of the day, but she especially likes it if I reach out to her in the afternoon when the sun shines the brightest...

I'll add that the only spirit that I've been advised on anything to do with night or day is Nambi Fae (a type of astral fae, I believe), who like spending time with their keeper outdoors at night.
I don't keep sanguine vampires but maybe for some night time has a resonance? As they're spirits, not living on planet Earth, I doubt that daylight poses an actual problem for any of them (even if that trope holds any resonance for any of sanguine vampire races).
