Muchos gracias! Thanks!AlexCzernosech wrote:For CH's dragons, they have a couple encyclopedia pages for black and blue dragon languages. If you write to the helpdesk, they may be able to pull up more for your white dragons.

Are there good resources out there (online or offline) that could be recommended to start trying to learn these languages be it dragon or other spirit's native tongue?

There's I think some related based off Tolkien but I don't think there are any real physical dragon language sources as the race of dragons depending on elemental alignment, area, and realm will have a wide variety of dialects along with I don't think human vocals can mimic dragon speech in authenticity but I could be wrong.

Hello ash and magnolia, I know this is definitely one of the older posts but, is there any chance that you could put in language for a green dragon in the encyclopedia? It would most definitely mean a lot.
"Noctu morte"
"alumni elementarium"
"Discipulus quantae divinationis"
" Discipulus illusionist"
"Until the song is sung and the musicians have all gone home, not even you can tell which notes made the melody."

Extremely interesting to read this post.
When I was a teenager I had recurring dreams of an ancient water dragon floating in the river in the woods behind our house.
He told me, that he was visiting me, because we once had a bond. In ancient times dragons of different races chose humans to be their Voices. Although they were guides to the human race, most humans were not able to understand dragons, so the Voices helped translate and created comprehensible words. The Voices had a natural talent for telepathy and as compensation for their services in translating were gifted with some of the dragon's attributes.
Maybe that's why some are not able to get their dragon's words at all, when they are speaking 'original dragon', because they are not using the human words. As well as mimicking the words is almost impossible, like some already mentioned here.
