What is a good christian protection ritual?

I go regularly to church. But first, I called upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved, was my first step 27 years ago.

Confessing Jesus, that He is the Son of God and my Saviour is a MUST to verbally say out loud. The realms know the absolute profound importance and weight of these words. Unfortunately, not many humans care for it. Make sure that you do believe it and stay firm in that saving knowledge, that He /Jesus is indeed the Immortal, Invisible Son of God the Saviour, who's blood was shed for mankind to redeem them to God without loss, those who will believe in His finished work on the cross.

Check out Magnolia's thread as well. I loved reading it. True and powerful. Psalm along is actually pretty powerful protection to start with.

This not a ritual but in some astral travel circles and in some magic/wiccan/occult ones, the Archangel Michael is seen as very powerful psychic / spiritual protector to call on. This is by experienced people who are not Christian, as well as those who are. ie It's not exactly a belief system thing. The being known as Archangel Michael actually does have that ability on the unseen planes.

I think of this being as predating belief systems like monotheism.

I would say the LBRP. My reason being that part of it can be translated into the "Lord's Prayer"
I have seen
Ateh,
Malkuth,
Ve Geburah,
Ve Gedulah,
Le Olam, amen.

Translated to be "for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen" But I have also seen it translated as " As above, so below, the power and the glory, forever, amen."
