I have spent close to a year trying to figure out a solution for building a shelf unit in my space. I eventually gave up and no further thought was put into it, other than grumbling that I couldn't find a solution.
The requirements were tricky, and I couldn't figure out how to get it securely attached without bolting directly to the wall, which I didn't want to do , for electrical safety reasons. (I live in a rig, so everything must be secured) it also would not be allowed to touch the floor on one side, and I'd have to avoid the secondary AC pump, lines and exhaust vents.
Normally I am very resourceful, and creative with building. But this one stumped me. There are also lots of curves and areas that are difficult to work with.
One morning I was meeting with one of my vampires, and I casually mentioned my frustration with not finding a solution to my issue, when halfway through the sentence my words abruptly stopped as a very vivid clear image of a solution smacked into my eye. It was genius, simple, and followed all requirements. I looked at my vampire , completely stunned at his solution. He grinned and shrugged.
I quickly sketched out the measurements and ran to the hardware store, had them cut every piece perfectly, went home and built the unit in no time. It came together without one issue!
Anyways, I just wanted to share. Vampires are very skilled in many ways, but this was something I didn't expect . It was something I would never have thought of. lol My friends are truly amazing.
