Well, garlic is only going to be an affective cure of diseases, if it's ingested regularly. I don't really believe personally, that it would repel spirits or evil magic by hanging garlic in my home nor a vampire will get subdued.
Maybe one specific vampire or two. I don't know. I eat garlic nearly every day and so far I didn't get Coronavirus infection. But I have my royals spirit family also tasks with this particular wish and protection.
If it's comes to protecting myself or my home, garlic would not come to my mind but strong energetic protection and my spirit guides.
Space cleaning is with sage and scented candles, that I have around in my home.
