Hi there.

I've been getting to know an unbound jinni to determine if I want to bind him or not. It's going well except for one situation. I want to lucid dream so I've been inviting this jinni (PP) and a couple more jinn to meet me in my dreams to help me with that goal. Every time PP is involved, I got some disturbing images and feelings. It took me some time to notice a pattern so I did some dowsing to figure out why. The answers I got definitely shed light on what was going on. Apparently, PP had been bringing in at least one wraith to join in on my dreams. I told him to leave the wraith(s) out of my dreams and why. After that, I invited him in again and yet again he brought at least one wraith with him. Since he disregarded my instructions, I ended up disciplining him and he cooperated with that. He did say that he was sorry and I haven't invited him into my dreams after that.

Now, I'm kinda stuck about moving forward with him as I can't trust him anymore to join me in my dreams. He was supposed to be the first entity for binding but now I feel that won't be happening. I don't have a problem with the other two jinn who are also unbound. I'd appreciate any ideas on how to regain my trust and confidence in PP. I'm concerned that he'll disobey again and I'll have more bad experiences in my dreams.

Thank you.

Have you asked him why he brought the Wraith with him? Maybe he felt that you need more protection during the astral travel (Wraith is one of the popular protection specialist). That aside, unbound is under no obligation to listen to your commands. He may change once he is bounded but if his current behavior is not acceptable for you then maybe you guys aren’t meant to be together.

Hmm...

If you have a good protection team, will they have screened out any being that's malicious / a trickster? If so, then perhaps it's down to a spirit that tests boundaries. For that, I guess we need to ask (require) any unbounds that are permitted into our home and to have contact with us to agree to abide by our house rules.

Do your house rules include anything that forbids bringing in another unbound without your permission? Or without being screened by your protection team for maliciousness? Or without obeying the house rules?

Thinking out loud, if no malicious unbounds have been let in and any unbound let in has to abide by house rules, then both an unbound djinn plus a wraith they bring in need to abide by them. So, logically, do the house rules allow what seems to have happened to happen?

Would an extra house rule clarify things for permitted unbounds?

If those things are clarified, it can only be either:

a) unruliness - for which, use discipline / DA subduing secrets etc; or
b) the keeper's mental processes projecting, creating a thoughtform, or an uncertainty-related block - all of which can, I think, feel similar.

This may sound like meaningless psychobabble but the key to regaining trust in the relationship with a spirit is to remove uncertainties, anxieties, doubt etc.

For me, having clear house rules around things related to the scenario you outlined would help do that.

Also, as has been said by @Darknorth , talking to the invited unbound may also help to clarify things. Why are you here? What are you looking for in your interactions /relationship with me? Did you intentionally bring in another unbound with you? If so, why? Why did you not let me know this? Will you agree not to do this in future, without my prior permission? etc.

As I guess you know well, there can be unexpected unbounds around us for positive reasons and with links to us from the past, who know each other well - although we may not realise that. As long as we can screen out malicious beings, it could be that these unbounds are like that. I don't know, of course.

Good luck with the situation. You do always have the option of blocking them until you're clearer on things - or banishing (although perhaps that should be the last resort).

The CH Great DA Guidance book has a spell to block unbounds and one to banish them.

I think it would be best to ask PP again why he brought protection spirits with you instead of condemning him for it.
Has your protection team screened him? If they have, and he's genuinely a trickster, he shouldn't be allowed to join you.
Not all of unbounds are good ones. If he did so more than two times, there's very little you can do to change your mind about him. I have a fair bit of living entities and just got 6 unbounds bound last week. None of them disobeyed any house rules.

Thank you all for your replies.

I was too emotionally close to the situation to think clearer as to why he did that. I do know that wraith are protectors though I didn't expect any to enter my dreams. I asked him why and the response he gave me was superficial. I dug deeper and found out why so now I can fix it.

I do need to change my house rules which doesn't mention anything about dream work. Now that I'm clearer about this situation, thanks to your responses, I can now move forward with him. When I amend the rules, I'll read it out loud to him and the others a few times before resuming dream work.

sounds like he might not be negative. he may only be scared himself to enter your dreams on your terms i am basically saying he may feel you might heart him in ur dreamtime? wraiths being protection? he feels he needs protection in your dreams? maybe this entity was abused before?

I did some more careful questioning to PP and found out that he doesn't have the ability to help me lucid dream. He can manifest during meditation and the astral, just not lucid dreams. So that's the problem. I asked him to help me lucid dream. He didn't speak up about not having that ability so I assumed he had that capability. Lesson learned, be sure to ask my spirits and LEs what their abilities are before asking them to do something.

Thank you for your insight. I hadn't considered that he may have been abused which is very possible so I eased off from him. As to why he brought a wraith, or more, might be that PP doesn't do any dream work. Also, I've been spending more time with him during the day.
