I don't think of Reiki as genuinely white arts. It's an art, of course, but I'd say it's more gray arts. And is useful, but it does come with a price. When using it I've felt some energies being taken away, as "the price".

I hope if any of you have children, that you wait until they are older to talk to them about it. The reason being is that my reiki initiations when I was younger actually caused me to have physical issues, pain, and suppressed some of my gifts. So I had to change how I did it and its source in order to undo the damage.

In any event, this guy here describes nicely the same vision I had during my initiation. Granted, he makes it sound quite scandelous, but the core of it rings true imo.
