Hey there all, it's been a minute since I posted. I'm looking for some opinions on something that happened to me last night because my own research is failing me. I was curious if anyone might have some insight on who might have been trying to connect with me. As I was falling asleep, I heard a woman's voice calling my name, and afterwards she said "lady of the fallen". I've been looking into it and haven't found any answers yet, so opinions are welcome <3

That sounds like an interesting experience. In my opinion it might be best to do a reading for yourself surrounding the situation. As well as to see if she was referring to you or to herself.

My first thought was that it could possibly be a title or an epithet? Maybe she’s a fallen angel that is calling to you and wanting you to know more about her. Or even a figure that supports those who feel “fallen” or downtrodden. There’s really so many possibilities with what was said here.

I hope you find out more about this!

Fwiw here's my opinion...

If it feels like this was no ordinary contact / voice you heard, what does your gut feeling tell you?

Does it feel like it's something to worry about? If so, it'd be a good idea to look at upping your protection coverage.

If it feels like a message, the message is no doubt for you. It will have most meaning for you and it may be worth pondering / contemplating that.

The way I see it, we're all likely to comment on the meaning of this event from our own perspectives, yet it's significance is for you and it may be something we could all miss. With many seemingly paranormal voices or messages, it may never be possible to absolutely pin down with satisfaction exactly what it was. It may even have been a combination of factors.

When we're in a pre-sleep mode, which can be a form of light trance, any being around us might take advantage of that quiet time to reach out to us telepathically. Or we might be psychically open then to some other influence that is nothing to do with spirits. It might be our higher consciousness or even our own subconscious processing something. The list goes on.

I often get incongruous words popping into my mind, wondering which spirit is trying to tell me what. But then later that day I see or hear something on TV that breaks the dream, as it were. It's hardy Edgar Cayce level stuff but my precognition often reveals itself in relation to things I'll see in the very near future...on TV(!)

The important thing is what action are you going to take, if anything?

What does 'Lady of the Fallen' move you to do? Was it referring to you? Or to her as the Lady? Does it make you consider getting a binding of a fallen angel, for example? Does it feel like an Immortal? Do you feel like getting a reading about yourself. Do you feel Fallen?

What feels right?

You can always use this CH item to see what beings are around you and want to be bound.

Don’t be scared. This island is full of noises, strange sounds and sweet melodies that make you feel good and don’t hurt anyone. Sometimes I hear a thousand twanging instruments hum at my ears, and sometimes voices that send me back to sleep even if I had just woken up—and then I dreamed of clouds opening up and dropping such riches on me that when I woke up, I cried because I wanted to dream again. Hmm, the term "lady of the fallen" does leave some room for interpretation. While a Fallen Angel might seem like the obvious choice, let's not be too hasty. It's quite possible that the spirit or entity in question was hinting at a more profound revelation. Perhaps you are the "lady of the fallen" they speak of! Could it be that this mysterious connection hails from a past life, waiting to be rediscovered?

The dark is not a place to be afraid of.
It is a place to be explored.
The moon and the stars are friends, not foes.
They will guide you through the darkness and lead you right back home.
There are things in the dark that make it magical and mystical,
But they are also kind and peaceful creatures who want nothing more than to help you feel safe and loved.

You will want to consider what you were doing, thinking about, going through, or trying to figure out in the time before you fell asleep. It is not likely to be totally random that this presence came to you or said this thing to you, more likely to be related to something in your life.

Sounds like a beautiful and powerful experience! Quick question: do you work with, or are attracted to Norse deities at all? Because from what you described, my immediate thought is that it sounds like Goddess Freyja.

My experience with the Norse gods is that they tend to call out to me. For example, before starting to work with Odin, I'd hear a man's voice say my name and send me brief messages (along with lots of images of crows and a wolf). It's when I finally traveled to meet him that I understood this was the voice I was hearing.

The word "Freyja" litterally means "Lady". So Goddess Freya is often referred to as the Lady. And it's no secret that she welcomes fallen warriors into her magnificent hall. So the denomination "Lady of the fallen" feels very accurate for describing her...

Just mentioning this as a possible avenue for research, in case it resonates with you :)

Interesting.

My first thought was the Celtic goddess The Morrigan for the same reason.

But I think the big question here is what does the word "fallen" mean to you? Does it mean "fallen in battle"? "Fallen from grace?" "Fallen from power"? "Fallen out of bed"?
