I think I should mention that I do have a spider shape shifter spirit, if you want to call it that. I hadn't thought of it as anything more special than every other valued bound companion I have. It's simply a spirit that can manifest to me as a big spider, or as a woman. They're a completely non-threatening presence.(But I like spiders anyway; well, house spiders.)

Unfortunately, it's a type of spirit known only to the conjurer who offered me the binding - as a valued customer, I think. It isn't publicly available.
