I believe I have something attached to me. I have been hearing a voice but only from my right ear, almost like inside my head but not. Hard to explain, sorry. When I get to hear my spirit keep they usually sound like someone talking to me. This attachment will not tell me who he is, or anything about him. He mostly seems to watch over me, but will go through periods where he states I am his, that he is my husband. He has pretended to be other of my spirits.
I have asked my spirit keep to remove him, and he will be quiet for a week then comes back. I think that he is keeping me from hearing my keep on a regular basis or seeing them. Any suggestions on how to handle this attachment? All I want to do is work with my keep and I can't feel their energy due to this attachment.

In my opinion there are many possibilities, including the effects of one's own mind; astrological influences; or a phase of personal development you're going through.

Do you have a specialist protection spirit that has the power of banishing? (eg Volkhs do.)

A Volkh can banish any negative or unwanted unbound, attached being. It can also cleanse and banish similar energies....IF the cause is either of those things.

It assists the process to retrain the mind not to reconnect with it afterwards. For that it'd probably also help if you're absolutely crystal clear and determined to exclude whatever the external cause is.

Banishing doesn't work for bound companions. It also doesn't work if the cause is internal in some way.

I'm in a similar situation, so I'm interested in reading others responses. In the meantime...

This spirit around you reminds me of a spirit who has been around me for about 12 years. (I didn't know he was a spirit, I thought he was just my imagination, hence why he hasn't been banished yet.)
Just like with your spirit situation, the one I've been dealing with also has come to me out of the blue, saying that I'm his wife, calls me by a girls name (I'm a guy, by the way), but he has given me a name. Whether or not it's his real name I have no idea, but he claimed that him and I are married.
I simply asked my Spirit Family to keep him away from me. I "see" him from time to time, but he has never come into my apartment, nor interacted with me since.

For your situation, which is what I have done with another spirit like this (no, not the one I just wrote about, a different one), is I have set very clear boundaries for him specifically because he likes to grab faces, specifically mine and one of my Spirit Significant Other's. I don't physically or energetically feel his hand on my face, it's more like I get mental images of him doing it.
Either way, I've tasked my Spirit Family to keep him away. For my SSO, I bought an Evil Eye Bracelet and attached it to SSO's vessel. The bracelet works very well! However I also smudge my apartment, and when I do I notice a difference.

In my opinion I would reach out to Creepy Hollows, or a Spirit Companion seller on Etsy, for a reading of this spirit. If you choose to keep him around, good. If not, then perform a protection ritual and cleanse your space. Hope this helps!
