I have bought the books Paratrooper: The Life of Gen James M Gavin and LTG James M. Gavin M. Gavin: Theory and Influence, and find that they helped me learn more about him. I highly recommend these books if anyone wants to learn more about him and his life.
I have two of the books written by him. One of them being "On to Berlin: Battles of an Airborne Commander 1943–1946 (1976)", and which I also recommend giving a read.
