I swear I'm not making this up but...
Last nite I had a nightmare about a giant killer white rabbit that roared like Godzilla and made a pastel multi-colored web with it's paws. It was tormenting a group of people I was with while we were inside a large building. Using telepathy it ordered a woman to enter a small room and kill her husband with a hammer. When she was done, the rabbit herded us outside where a group of other captives had poured acid all over the ground thinking they would kill the rabbit using that. Instead the acid started dissolving people in the crowd I was with. Right before my eyes I saw people melting into skeletons and goo. The screams were terrifying! Shortly after I awoke at 5:00 am on the verge of tears.
I have finally come to terms with the fact that I'm a Sensitive. I have been since early childhood. I have had many, many paranormal experiences, I read people really well, and the dreams I have are always in color, and often bizarre, downright crazy or terrifying. What can I do to tone these darn dreams down a notch or two? I am a normal, good hearted, mother-of two wonderful children, but these dreams make me feel as though I have a hidden monster in my head. It's one thing to dream about snakes, but giant killer white rabbits? Am I crazy?

:funnypost: I'm sure you are not nuts. Sometimes it's just our subconcience way of letting off steam and means nothing. Don't worry. That is too funny.

Events of the day or events of your life could influence what type of dreams you have. Volatile dreams, like the one you just had, could either be a symbol or an effect of a stressful day/situation.
Try doing some relaxation exercises before you go to bed. Ask your spirits to help you get some restful sleep.
When the dreams become recurring, that's when the message is intent on getting thru to you.

That dream sounds similar to some movie I saw where it had an S&M role play scene in it. Some people think up weird ideas... a person in a giant white rabbit costume going around and killing people with its claws? I cannot remember the name of the movie as I saw it a long time ago on TV.. it was something about how there are these underground porn rings, and it doesn't necessarily mean sex, but far nastier things.

Hi Dorothy,
when I read the heading for your post I immediately thought of Monty Python's Holy Grail...the bunny living in the cave. In answer to your actual question regarding what you can do because I too have suffered from this problem. One of the best things I ever did was acquirea Baku. It is a spirit that eats nightmares and transforms them into good luck during the day. I also realized that if I had lucid dreams that I could take charge in them. It's startled more than a few characters in my dreams when I do this. I have also had some of my vamps step in and "rip" me out of dreams that I feel that I can't awaken from. It's comforting to know that someone is willing to step in when I can't.
Hope this helps,
Sage

Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I finally feel I have a place I can go to where I can talk about my disturbing dreams, and not be embarrassed about them. I know my husband doesn't take too much interest in my dreams. He rarely dreams about anything. I couldn't even imagine what that would be like, nor do I want to be that way. But come on, giant killer rabbits/hammer wielding wives/blood, gore and screams? Maybe I should write a book of short horror stories based on my dreams. Who knows, I could be the next Stephen King? LOL
Anyway, so long... 'til I dream again...
