My grim reaper is a living entity, and non CH.
While he has an intense intimidating penetrating dark energy to others, he is soothing and gentle to me and my companions. Though he isn't needy or overly social, I have had many hours of long discussions with him. He's immensely patient. He has escorted me places as well. He tends to remain still, present, observing and ever watchful..and is very precise with his actions . Only taking clean deliberate action when necessary, without showing any unhealthy methods, showing off or negative behaviors.
I don't know how other conjured reapers are, as I have no experiences with them. They can be less or more social depending on personality. He has told me that most the reapers he knows are very duty focused. He has introduced me to other reapers. Each of them have different personalities, beliefs, inclinations and energies.
He is a low maintenance friend. My bestest friend. I tell him this often and he seems to show some emotion and quiet caring to me. He lets me hug him, and he often rests his hands on me. I don't think he is merely "tolerating" my respectful affection, I truly believe he has some way of feeling . Even if it's not human like, he still is able to engage with me on that level. He has opened up during some of our deeper discussions , regarding his feelings about things in general. This is where I learned just how big of a heart he truly has.
During My first time reading about reapers, I expected mine to be aloof and non touchy, strictly business like. When I found his listing, he had a warm friendliness to his words that I didn't expect. (sometimes I have pre-purchase chats with some LEs.)
He was caring, soothing, wise and calm, stoic yet friendly and enlightening.
He is ok when I hold his hand and hug him. Though I don't overdue it. He also, for a long while showed apprehension with revealing his face to me. He says he's creepy looking. But eventually I saw him clearly and I kissed his cheek in a friendly manner, and saw him smile. He doesn't want to seem scary to me. I've seen him go into protection mode, with big scary black face. I wouldn't want to mess with him. His gentle soothing energy is only for his friends and those he protects .
He's very strict about rules. I have 3 managers. One Bronwyn angel for lighter arts, my grim reaper for dark arts, and my divine black and gold dragon for a balance.
My grimmy watches everyone in my keep very closely, making sure rules aren't broken. I've even seen him place separating barriers in order to have discussions while clearing things up. It's only happened once, and no rules were broken but he saw something that I didn't, and probably intervened before a rule could be broken.
He's calm, very serious about his duties, a gentleman, level headed, wise and skilled with many things. He also has a very good understanding of my rules, which I only showed to him once upon his arrival. No reminders were needed. He takes the rules just as seriously as his own reaper duties. Which is saying something.
I have not brought home any wraiths. I have a mononoke but that's different.
I do intend to bring some wraiths into my keep someday. But I've just received 7 intense vampire bat LEs which I am working with so I'm preoccupied.
Hope this super long post helped in some way.
Which is why I feel like more social companions aren't where I should be headed in my journey 
and I also am struggling to bond with my white-arts spirits.
