Re: Why Practitioner Names are Important

It’s interesting to see this right about now, as I have batted around the idea of creating a shop using my practitioner name (which I have not shared with anyone). Decisions, decisions.

For now, it’ll remain known only to me, though.

Re: Is there a way to change or modify your past?

We can also change the way we regard the past, with respect to how we interpret our own decisions or lack thereof. For example, I can look back at Younger L2R and her decisions in certain key situations that didn't turn out so well, and give her my understanding. Younger L2R had not yet learned some...

Re: Can spirits cause Severe Anxiety?

I echo the advice to see your doctor. Blood sugar numbers all over the map suggest a medical issue that needs to be seen to. And mood disorders, including anxiety, are a medical issue as well. Have your doc screen for that and for other things that could send thoughts into a tailspin like OCD. I see...

Re: Is there a way to change or modify your past?

The one thing we absolutely can do is change the way we regard the past. That’s especially the case when we are adults looking back on childhood events. For example, maybe we can see now that a person who hurt us was dealing with inner demons (figuratively speaking), and it was NOT *our* fault if th...

Re: Furbaby Memorial

I’m so sorry.

At least she had your sister’s loving home and this other adopter’s loving home. Accidents can happen so quickly. Our furbabies can move so much faster than we can, and if they forget their training for one instant, they can have an accident like this.

Re: Did My Friend See Her Spirit Animal?n

I’ve come to understand that “spirit animal” is a concept that belongs to some indigenous traditions in North America. Some members of that culture prefer that non-members wouldn’t use the term, and I can see their point. We’re talking about folks who were dragged off to residential schools where th...

and who are still my friends, are NOT clued in to the fact that I have branched out into magick and spirit-keeping. Perhaps some of them are doing exactly what you are doing! I’m sure they’re still communicating with animals and spirits, as that’s how we all got started. But I’ve been specific enou...

Re: Comunication while beeing sick

When I’m seriously under the weather, I’m far less receptive than normal. I just think it’s a function of my body conserving energy, and using the energy for healing. Recovery from illness or injury definitely requires energy, and the body’s got to get it from somewhere. Once I’m doing better, my no...

Re: how come my threads are not showing up when i post in the beginner newbie area. how many of you keeps this a secret

There are a lot of stickied threads in the beginner section. I wondered where my posts were going, too, when I first joined here. New posts will appear after all the sticky threads; you might have to go past the firmest page to see your new thread. And I have been flying under the radar since Day On...
