Hey I was wondering about the zombie spirits and what they do exactly. I read the encyclopedia article and it sounds like there servants, but what do they specialize in? If anyone has one could they explain more, thanks. :)

unfortunately hollywood has bollocked the idea of zombies by portraying them as brain and flesh eating dead and they really are not! here was a post i wrote about da spirits last june and i talk about my zombie girl.

yep it was a real surprise and he came with a zombie girl who i really love having around! zombies might not have anything upstairs so to say but they just have a way of fitting in and they do well with the tasks they are given. i'd suggest every serious keeper have at least one in their keep because the energies are so different and they're not senseless but you're not going to chat with them either unless it's a very lopsided conversation (ya i've had a few with my girl and i get a stare but for some reason she has really reached me in a way that is hard to describe).

the side effects normally eventually become so slight that you really won't notice and if you have house rules where none of the da spirits are doing as they wish you won't get any of the side effects which can occur. i suppose dealing with a tough da spirit is like dealing with a member of an outlaw biker gang - except with the da spirit you're not really giving them a wide berth or crossing to the other side of the street but rather enforcing the rules since you're in the position to.

also, the thread about zombies by ash is here: http://www.creepyhollows.com/phpBB3/vie ... it=zombies

as i stated, i really do love my one and only zombie girl and although i really loved "zombieland" with woody harrelson.....completely missed the mark on what zombies actually do - but was funny, especially with bill murray!

hope this helps! :zombie: :grouphug:

We need more zombie love and discussion on this board. :D I have a Haitian priestess zombie. I gave her a task to go over to my neighbor when they're being too loud and recommend to them to turn it down a bit (the noise often seems to lower a moment later) and general protection duties. It's nice to know she's there ready for whatever I need her to do. I sometimes get headaches with DA energies but nothing serious. You do get used to the energies.

Thanks for bringing this topic back up, and major thanks to Arsine for her comments. I had a zombie come through on an open conjuration, and it really freaked me out at first because I couldn't figure out just why a zombie would want to come home with me, but after reading this and Ash's thread, I think I know why. So I've asked him to protect my WA spirits since I have a few here who are rather vulnerable.

I'd love to see more zombie discussion, too! :skull:

How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

i have been hoping others with zombies would post their experiences and as i have said so many times - i love my zombie girl and she was an absolute surprise spirit who came with another that was a complete surprise - a male stryx who is a constant companion and adviser to me. both have been more than i could ever have asked for and can't wait to hear more zombie stories! :) :zombie: :inlove: :zombie: :grouphug:
