The most obvious secret (lol, paradox much) of resistance to entities bearing malicious intent, is to be confident and relax. Take it in stride.
Not to say you shouldn't take appropriate protective measures, but such entities are successful preying on those who REACT. A result of this stance is they develop a respect for you, or become bored, or understand they cannot penetrate your will. Always be cool. Never fails.
