Just to add a small plug for a very powerful (and free!) piece of software for producing graphical astrologers charts - Walter Pullen's "astrolog" ( => google). It can also list dates and times of transits and progressions to natal planets over a specified time period of years - presumably this would help in identifying whether a given birth time was correct? - and has separate ephemaris files for very accurate planetary positions.
