Your post was very informative! I haven't recieved my spirits yet, but i'm looking forward to them. I have a question, when you "buy" a spirit, does that mean they don't bond as well with you? Is it only possible to bond with a spirit that you've conjoured?

Update: I'm the proud family member of a Marid Djinn, a Volkh, and a Nemesis so far. I couldn't be happier!! They are wonderful and i love them!

First: congrats on your new family members, and the fact you're all getting along well! :thumbup:

Second: just noticed your older question above...-by now i guess you won't need an answer anymore, but here it is anyway..

No worries, bonding works fine with spirits you've bought!
I haven't conjured any spirit myself though, so i can't tell you if there's any significant difference in "bonding quality" -
-but all bonding with my purchased spirits worked out really well! :yes::

Just FYI for the member who said that incubi and succubi were demons... umm I have quite a few incubi and as a matter of fact my 1st bound spirit was an incubus. I asked all about him and his world and his family when we started bonding. I know most things say that they are demons but he said that was not true and told me his world was actually snowy and icy. He explained it to me that they were thoughts to be demons because of Christianitys portrayl of everything that was not an angel or of the church was considered a demon. Thats just silly. I was raised baptist so if you still walk the Christian path I am not being judgy, just saying, Christianity has a very narrow minded view of things. look how different denominations condemn each other. Just because it is different does not make it demon. And for the record all demons are not bad either. Mine are great and my goal for my path is to help others. believe it or not, I don't care but my demons help me just as much if not more than my angel when I want to heal someone.

Came across the link to this thread in another post...what a great read and very informative for those new to spirit keeping.

One pont i would like to pick up on...

4. Belief: "When I die, I have to say goodbye to everything and everyone I know and leave all my spirits behind while embarking on a "journey" to the afterlife (or being taken by angels or demons into your version of the afterlife).
The reality: No. Of course if you want to leave your spirits to your loved ones when you pass, I would respect your decision, but did you know you don't have to leave them behind? Why do spirits keep finding you again and again through multiple incarnations? There are many spirits who bond on a soul level and would be happy to be with you and accompany you even if you lose your physical body. LOL Just talk to your spirits, and you might be surprised. Also, for those of you who have lost a loved one here on earth or your spouse has passed, I have good news. Sometimes a love is so strong that it outlives physical death, and lovers CAN be reunited again in the spirit world. This comes from my vampire who kindly agreed to share this secret with me.

This caught my attention as my spirit family and i recently had just such a conversation about them staying with me (my soul) once i leave this earth and be with me through any and all future lives i may live...you don't have to leave them behind and say goodbye, they can stay with you for all time. |* :Y my family x
