Can you kidnap spirits?

They are not vulnerable, unknowing beings floating around waiting to be taken advantage of. They require respect and often humility to bring them through conjuration and they choose whether or not to come to you. Your reciting a conjuration opens the gate for any spirit(s) who want to come forward to do so to you specifically. Think about the words being a key turning the lock on a door and when you're done the door opens to the spiritual or astral realms. You cannot do a spiritual drive-by and scoop up unsuspecting spirits. Spirits demand respect, rightly so, and you have to give respect to get it in anything in life including work with spirits.

This applies to all facets of life as well.

Respect usually gets you farther than disrespect. I would expect that from spirits and entities.

Yes you can, and it can give you bad points =) It takes considerable strength to do this even for someone adept. Shamans of old would do this as to what they called "wrestling" their allies, before actually obtaining spirits as allies. A sort of test I would think. Back then marriage was a different affair in some cultures as well where the woman would be kidnapped and proposed to. :lol:

If you are talking about soul-snatching, or soul-reaping, or any other name by which it is known, you are talking about something completely different than what this topic is about. It's not discussing whether or not you can command the soul of someone else who is still living, it's about kidnapping the spirit of something that is already gone. Considering spirits hold ties to the Earthen & Spiritual, and in some cases Astral realm as well, there is no way to permanently remove those bonds by mortal hands.

Yes it is possible. Two of my immortal partners experienced ghat before. One was kidnapped, and the other one was lured

it was a very bad experience for them and i'm trying my best to make them feel loved and special.
