What are White Arts, Dark Arts, & Black Arts?

White Arts means the spell or spirit is purely good in its intentions; it is not capable of being bad. It is a positive, uplifting, and heart-warming energy. Dark Arts simply means it’s like a human being; capable of being good or bad. In the case of spirits they likely choose to do the right thing, as most humans do, but they have the freedom of choice. Black Arts means the entire intent of the spell or spirit is to be malicious & perform functions of harm to others.

How about looking at it this way. Just thinking of White/Dark/Black Arts using the colour analogy, if you think of the spectrum (sorry for this really bad pictorial example),
White -------------------------- Black
the absolutes are purely white and purely black. Anything that is not purely "white" is, technically, gray, and therefore, "Dark." However, depending on how the spirit is classified on the scale, it could be "lighter" (more towards the white), or "darker" (more towards the black).
White -----"Lighter Gray"------------------"Darker Gray"----- Black
