Volunteers needed for research

We need Volunteers. There are two subjects which need to have the FAQ and answers put in one place.
We need members who are proficient in using the search function who are willing to put in some time and effort to work
within a committee to put together a collection of posts answering various questions.

Need to be able to use a word or similar doc.

again anywhere i can be of use, even if its sifting through all of the threads and finding the ones where members were being attacked or thought they were being attacked. so not sure which one that would be. but just throwing my name in.

EDiting to add that I know very little personally about the subject but am willing to SEARCH, COPY & PASTE in a Word or Google docs.

For your FAQ, do you have all the questions you need?

I have a feeling I just don't really get the dark arts thing.

Yep, that's what we are doing, formulating the questions and searching the forum for answers. Copy and paste. Even if we aren't sure how good it is, we'll copy and paste, because we want to populate the information then we'll sort and organize. We're not coming up with our own answers on these.

Elle, compiling that info on a google doc for organizing would be invaluable.

Inedible, after we get organized, a post for questions would be helpful. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'm sure a lot of people are out with family, so hoping we get some more volunteers to search. There could be several hundred pages to go thru, if we have more volunteers, it would make it easier.

I could write up a personal case study, if it proves useful.

And I also started this, http://www.creepyhollows.com/phpBB3/vie ... 91&t=16485 but it still needs polishing. I was thinking of placing it in the educational section under protection, but it could go elsewhere (or two places) if needed.

And I'd be glad to scour the archives, but I don't want to pull up the same things as five different people, so there would have to be some sort of list to cross check things to.

Do ya'll want me to set up a Google Doc's document?? I can certainly do that...but I would need your email addresses in order to allow you to read/edit the documents. I'm not 100% certain, but I think you'd need a Gmail account in order to make that happen. I'll find out for certain and let you know.

This way, as you find stuff, you could go in and paste the information in the online document.

We might want to find a way to divide up the forum pages...albeit that sounds a little difficult as new information is potentially being added daily. I suppose one could do it by date...as obviously PAST dates aren't going to change.

I'll let you know about the Google Docs requirements when I figure it out.
