Got it off a website for foreign language 'week' (really just two days). It was easy to make, and taste great. You can buy wonton wrappers, and substitute shiso leaves for basil leaves. We cut the basil leaves in 3rds, and the wontons cook fast.
hope you enjoy it! :D

ingredients:

* 20 wonton wrappers
* 20 small cubes process cheese
* 10 shiso leaves
* Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:
Cut shiso leaves in halves. Place a piece of shiso and a cube of cheese in the center of a wonton wrapper. Fold the wonton wrapper in half diagonally, shaping into a triangle. Seal the edge well. Heat oil to 375 degrees F and deep-fry the wonton until brown.

* Makes 20 pieces.
