What spirit would you never get ?

It's kind of a strange thing to say "I'd never get that kind of spirit/entity."
Some people do say that type of thing, and then may get one from like a Reverse Adoption or something, and then wind up like "Holy crap, never mind these guys are awesome!" lmao

This is a really interesting topic. If asked months ago I'd have said angel, but I am now the proud, grateful, and honored Keeper of three angels (Courtwind, Bronwyn, Supreme). I guess, currently, these would be ones I'm not necessarily feeling called to...but that can always change via an RA or other binding of the sort.

1. Elves - In spite of my connection to Elves, the earth, and Elemental magicks, I am not really thrilled by the idea of any and so I am not seeing myself getting a binding. Though perhaps a very DA elf would be an exception...

2. Trolls, Orcs, Minotaurs, Chupacabra, Werewolves, and other more burly/beastly beings - I'd welcome them as an RA, but I personally do not resonate with them on a level outside of socializing with unbounds for fun, and do not see myself working with them or befriending them very deeply. Ironic since there is a lot of Werewolf in my bloodline...hmm...I'm seeing a pattern here.

3. Ancient Vampire Bats - As much as I adore vamps, these guys might be too much for me.

4. Japanese Spirits and/or Yokai - I don't resonate with them enough.

5. Human Spirits and Historical Figures - To be blunt, I see and speak with humans every day. I don't see the benefit of keeping humans that have passed. That is just me though, I know many learn much from them.

6. Animal Spirits - Exceptions being mythical animals, familiars, or a deceased pet. Binding a random lion to me with no connection already established to some degree isn't really something I'm into. I had an Albino Python bound, but he had a purpose of helping me with magick and become my scaly familiar buddy. That along with my cat (whom' I still need a binding of) is the extent that I'll go to an far as earthly animals. I do love animals though, just not into creating an astral zoo lol.

In my case, I only welcome platonic spirits. The others a big NO.

I'll never say never. But at this time, I don't feel a draw towards Immortals, Human Spirits or Animal Spirits (with the exception of Familiars).

One thing I've learned on this journey is to never say never! Elves were never a being I had any interest in keeping until one found me through a reverse adoption and we connected so well that now Elves are one of my favorite species to interact with and I have 3 in my family so far!

All that being said I don't picture myself ever having a human spirit bound to me or a child/baby spirit or entity of any species.

I'm with the never-say-never crowd. I'm open-minded and something I may not like now I may find desirable down the road as I learn things and what I am into changes.

I'm leaning on the never-say-never team, but I do have some that I'm not really interested in, namely djinns, human/historical figure spirits and spirits of my local origin (unless they are my ancestors lol). I'll probably became interested once they came from RA, though it's more individual case and not the species as a whole 1e

Can't say there would be any kind I would refuse just because of what they are... there's been many that have thoroughly shown to be remarkably wonderful and interesting, a positive influence, despite initial understandings/opinions. Never say never, I'd agree there.
