so yesterday when i was bought my hellhound i was thinking about getting a raffin but i needed more time to think... today i decided to get one, i just bought it

. so i was wondering... what are they like, do they talk like parrots do? are they friendly?

Friendly? That would be an understatement. :lol: My Raffin CONSTANTLY snuggles under my chin. He rarely leaves my left shoulder. He does talk. A bit short and choppy and somewhat parrotish, but he's also got wisdom to impart when he feels the need. He helps balance out my energies. He's more of a personal energy protector than most protectors in my keep, but I truly love this guy. I got him some green amazon parrot feathers as an offering. He really likes those.

You'll love your Raffin. You made a great choice for a wonderful new friend. :thumbup:

My raffin is neither cuddly nor talkative. Instead he is a high energy, happy, whizzing pressence that draws hummingbirds and lizards to my home. G does a wonderful job of clearing out negative or stagnant energy in my house and has a very high frequency vibration.

EDITED:

oops. I forgot to add, he Really likes my wraith who came in the same shipment. I don't know if that's species specific or a personal quirk.

maythen, now that you mention it my raffin seems totally taken with all my wraith including the armored ones. doesn't sound as high energy as your's but he too has managed to bring quite a few hummingbirds over to where my flowers are now on the deck. excellent point too how they manage to clear negative energies from a home too.

brotony, mine is talkative like your's and sometimes i just want to put my fingers on that little itty bitty gator nose and say "shhhhh for just 2 minutes please" but the face has lots and lots of teeth, lol but he's really just a cutie patootie and he'll just come out with something that makes me laugh. earplugs work wonders though, lol.

shinigami - i'm sure you are absolutely going to love your little fella!

Bump bump bump. I've been thinking about one day getting a raffin, I even dreamt about parrots the other day. I'd love to hear more about them.
