I want to learn everything I can about astral travel, and came upon the author Kurt Leland. He has a list on his website called "Essential Online Books" that looked just scrumdiddilyumptious to me to help build my foundation in understanding the matter of man and what this astral travel business is all about.

In addition, the bonus :applause: :applause: is that this is free reading online, or on your e-reader if you feel like downloading it for free.

I just finished Man and His Bodies by Annie Besant. It is not very long, easy to follow for the layperson such as myself and I would recommend it to start to understand how we can separate from dense bodies to have OBE's.

it really excites me to be able to read texts that are this old yet so applicable. (yes i know 1900 isn't old in the grand scheme of things)...even in 1896 Ms. Besant stated that man was on the verge of shifting consciousness. :)

Hi Athene :wave: I am still trying my hardest to get a copy of Besant's book to read. Still won't let me. I gave up the other day but think I've figured out the prob. It's cause I 'm in Australia and can't find a public version. The nearest is at latrobe Uni in Bundoora Melbourne to borrow but my borrowing registration isn't current anymore. Used to study philosophy and prehistory there.
Wanted you to know I'm still trying :thumbup: . I'm slowly working through the Robert Bruce manual and think I'll be ready to update on progress in ,say, 2 weeks. It's a slow work in process and am getting some signs of progress. Will update on that thread in a while when I have more to report. I hope others in the group are still maintaining enthusiasm.
I'm still working towards astral travel and glad you are too. Thanks for putting up the link again.

Hey Crystal! oh thanks for writing, i'm glad my fellow travelers are still working on this too. and yayy signs of progress? that is awesome! i can't wait to hear. nothing for me yet, although i'm definitely relaxing more during meditation times.

Also agree that relaxing while meditating is key!! Don't worry about the late reply, or nearly missing it. As I live in a totally opposite time zone to nearly everyone else here ,I'm awake while everyones asleep Lol, am used to not getting instant reply to posts :D
