I thought this was rather amazing. It's already fascinating to see a bunch of people do tai chi every morning, especially the ones who are so experienced that their motion is just fluid. I have not looked deeply enough into the subject to completely understand the utilization of chi energy in tai chi (but I'm sure it is related!) but it's a whole other basket of fish to see this guy generate this much energy from touching people. Imagine all the possibilities of goodness it can do if something like this can be integrated into modern technology to help patients suffering from paralysis!

Sure, I admit that I would like to see some X-ray footage as he sends the chi energy through people's body, but man... I would love to meet this guy in real life.

I was amazed by the video. I'm wondering if the whole NOT GOING PUBLIC thing is to prevent becoming idolized. Because I don't see any harm to show the public how healing can be done with Chi. Maybe the bullet thing and the fire might be used for different purpose but if it's all real it must be nice to see it in person.

You have a point, Seiko. I think at first, going public must be nice but then in the long term, he might be taken advantage of though by people who just want to see the show or whatever. I think this is met with a lot of skepticism mainly because not a lot of scientific research is spent on chi. Energy, yes, but as a means to healing? There's simply not enough studies.. and for some reason, the thing about the magnetic man (the guy who actually just didn't take a bath so that everything would stick to him) burned everyone so that it makes it hard for them to really believe in anyone.

Who knows? If he ever comes to the US, I'd definitely go to see him.
