rules for blogs?? what do you think.

Why only assign it to a couple people? It should just be a function of a blog. If we've earned the right to have one, we've earned the right to control it. Right?

I am seeing blog comments being deleted right and left.

If members are given that privilege to delete other members posts in their blogs, perhaps they should be required to sticky their policies on deletion in their blog. I for one will not be commenting unless it's somewhere I know my post is not going to be deleted.

Censorship? Really? Is this what it's come to? Despite the fact that members have their own blog this is not their website. It is a community. I respect that Magnolia decided to give out these privileges but I don't agree with the censorship I am seeing.

when was anyone given the right to censor what was in their blog, i thought they could only lock it from further comment.

I don't know why I am seeing posts appear, then disappear. I saw Bryan's thread disappear last night, then return with 2 comments that had disappeared and I assumed he had exerted his new privileges to delete them. Just thought I saw something else happen right now but maybe the author of the post deleted it??

Yeah.
I would like to be able to delete topics in my blog
cause sometimes I have posted when I am very upset.
And I can't edit my own posts after a few minutes..

i am only able to lock, or make a post a "sticky' post in my blog. no deleting options for me..so not sure what you are seeing being deleted?

I think the new functions are in trial mode. If it works out, I'm sure we'll all get them.
