They came from Egypt originally and they are very, very old. You probably have seen one before and didn't realize what it was, they are the dragons that hold their tail in their mouth to make a complete circle. Meaning completion, fulfillment, life and rebirth. Creation out of destruction. A return to wholeness, perfection of body and spirit. He is also a healer.

If you Google it, there is a good description on the web. I had never heard the word Ouroboros before until Dee Dee had a listing for one.

Of course I love my dragons and he is a wonderful addition to the family. His vessel is a ring of some type of stone (I'm not sure what it is) which is part green and part brownish-red.

Sounds fascinating. I think that the stone you are describing sounds like a Bloodstone.
I hope that you'll post your experiences with the Ouroboros as I've never known anyone that has one.

OOPS, my bad. I didn't see the pics. It DOES look like Jade.

Oh how lovely!

By looking at the picture I would say it is a type of jade.

Keep us updated!

There's a listing for dragon of moonlight from mother_elizabeth
http://cgi.ebay.com/Dragon-of-Moonlight ... dZViewItem

I think this dragon is the same as ouroboros dragon?

I just recently purchased two baby ouroboros dragons from Rhonda (moonstar7spirits). They are precious and I can hear their little voices in my mind (I'm sensitive enough to hear my spirits, thankfully). Each came in its own silver egg-shaped vessel which opened up to the likeness of a smiling mini dragon. So utterly adorable! I purchased a spelled geode on ebay for my babies and I felt drawn to buying a bit of purple satin ribbon today which I wrapped around each vessel, envisioning a warm cocoon or satin blanket for each baby.

I've only had my babies for a few days so I'm not quite sure what to do with them or what they look like, just yet.

Update: This morning I saw an image of the ouroboros serpent/dragon (circular body, tail in mouth) in my third eye as I rose from bed. Last night, a series of extremely upsetting events took place which seemed to take place out of left field... but frankly, I should've seen them coming... and things had been building for awhile. I was just thinking to myself, "Creation out of destruction".... well, the destruction part is just hitting its stride in my life... surely, out of the rubble, something new will rise.

Meanwhile, my two baby ouroboros dragons cuddled me to pieces last night. The female calls me "Mama". How precious is that? I love my babies so much.
